The Home Depot Web Site Wins The Partnership An International Design Award

Los Angeles, CA (February 3, 2009) – The 2008 International Design Awards (IDA) competition recognized The Partnership today for creative excellence in the multi media category. The Partnership’s work for The Home Depot Spring New Product Guide micro site received the category’s Silver award. Other category winners included Starbucks which received the Bronze award and the FX Channel for the “Nip Tuck” Web site which received the Gold award.

Architects, graphic designers, fashion designers and product designers submitted thousands of entries from 52 countries throughout the world, proving IDA’s true global nature. Judging was a rigorous process, with winners receiving publication of their work in the 2008 International Design Awards book, to be distributed to museum bookstores nationwide; promotion to over 100,000 design professionals and potential clients worldwide; year-long media coverage; and critical acclaim by our distinguished panel of judges.

“We are both pleased and honored that our team’s work for the retail leader in the home improvement category was recognized by our peers. As an agency, we take great pride in helping our clients achieve their business goals. As designers we feel most fulfilled when we deliver solutions that are well designed and help further our guild,” said Suzie Brickley, associate creative director at The Partnership.
