Rob Crews joins The Partnership as EVP Managing Director / CMO

The Partnership is proud to introduce Rob Crews as the new EVP Managing Director / CMO.

Rob joined The Partnership after serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of Ovation Brands, the parent company of Old Country Buffet, Hometown Buffet, and Ryans Steakhouses where he helped the owners monetize within one year. 

Rob has run his own consulting and pricing analytics firm and was an affiliate of the North Highland Group, a consulting firm based in Atlanta. In that role, Rob worked with clients such as The American Red Cross and Ally Bank to develop marketing solutions to drive their business. He has headed up marketing for American Golf Corporation, the nations largest golf course management company and has also served as the Vice President of Marketing for Grill Concepts, Inc., parent company of the Commissary to the Stars, the famed Grill on the Alley in Beverly Hills, California and the chain of Daily Grill restaurants. As the Vice President of Marketing at Rare Hospitality Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, he directed all marketing efforts for the companys three brands: LongHorn Steakhouse, Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse, and The Capital Grille.

Rob has been called a Closet CIO and enjoys building marketing stacks to increase effectiveness and efficiency.  He built Applebees first website in 1994 and developed a CRM platform at Churchs Chicken in 2013.

Outside of work, Rob can be found cheering and coaching his son and daughter on the baseball and softball diamonds, and is pretty good at getting Georgia clay out of uniforms.

Rob holds an IDM Award in Mobile Marketing from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in the United Kingdom and a BS/with Honors in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
