Appearing on the Inc. 5000 list has become one of the most sought-after accomplishments by up-and-coming companies in the United States. Now, The Partnership, Atlanta’s oldest marketing and brand communications agency, can proudly say it’s received this incredible recognition.
Starting in 1982, the Inc. 500 list aimed to name the most successful private companies that are achieving fast-paced growth. Over the years, some of the largest brands in the U.S. have appeared on the list, going on to become household names we recognize today.
Some of these brands include Microsoft, Patagonia, Pandora, 7 Eleven, Under Armour, Zipcar, Zappos.com, among many more. Given the incredible success of these lists and the outstanding quality of businesses in the United States, the Inc. list was expanded from 500 to 5000 to provide a richer understanding of the state of entrepreneurship in the U.S.

Hallmarks of Success
Appearing on the list is no easy feat and Inc. has stringent requirements that companies must meet to be featured, judging companies based on overall revenue growth over a three-year period. Beyond financial growth, the list also takes into account employee expansion to determine the companies that are boosting employment.
The Partnership was able to demonstrate impressive results for each of these requirements, having grown by 50% in 2022 alone, building on the successes of the previous years. Furthermore, the agency is on track to expand its offices further in Atlanta and Naples, Florida as the employee base continues to grow.
Given these impressive achievements, the judging committee at Inc. decided to include The Partnership on their 2022 list, ranking at 4,298.

Success Built Upon Success
Inc.’s recognition is the latest in a series of awards and distinctions The Partnership has earned in 2022. In May, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce selected The Partnership as one of Cobb’s 2022 Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year, highlighting it as one of the county’s exceptional, influential, and thriving companies.
The agency received further recognition for its work in its philanthropy and website design. In March, the Communitas Awards honored The Partnership with an International Excellence in Community Service and Philanthropy distinction for its “Gives Back” program. Additionally, the company received a Gold Award for website design from the international AVA Digital Awards competition in January.
