To launch Atlanta’s newest attraction, a 200-foot Ferris wheel called SkyView Atlanta, The Partnership was asked to develop a comprehensive launch campaign – including a robust social media component. The goal was to create buzz around SkyView and gain new followers.
We developed a social media campaign utilizing all the major social media platforms. From sparking conversations on Facebook and Twitter to creating social media-driven promotions, this campaign encouraged visitors to post their time at SkyView on Instagram, where locals and tourist alike became part of the SkyView Atlanta experience.
• Facebook gained over 2,000 followers and SkyView was discussed in more than 4,900 conversations • Images of SkyView were posted and shared by thousands each day on Instagram • The SkyLuv Package Valentines Day promotion delivered over 65,000 impressions (resulting in a complete sellout of 148 packages) • Twitter conversations trumped all social media engagements boasting 62% of all conversations.
