Community Support in Partner Communities Drives Long-standing Atlanta Marketing and Brand Communications Agency, The Partnership
As part of its Gives Back initiative, The Partnership, Atlanta’s oldest privately held brand and marketing communications agency, will serve as lead sponsor for the 25th Anniversary Annual Dinner and Annual Day of Giving, presented by Ripley County Community Foundation on June 21, 2022, in Sunman, Indiana. The “Gives Back” initiative focuses on providing support to communities and non-profits through diverse and high impact contributions that serve as a catalyst to advance and empower.
The dinner and annual day have been organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the RCCF’s Impact Grant scheme. This series of grants are made available on an annual basis to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that serve the people and places of Ripley County. This year, in celebration of the anniversary, a total of $100,000 has been pledged to support the community foundation’s four service areas: arts and culture; business and entrepreneurship; education, health and well-being; and environment and natural resources. Each area will receive a maximum of $25,000 and organizations are eligible to request between $1,000 and $25,000 per service area.
“For the first time in two years, the Ripley County Community Foundation will be hosting the Impact Grant event live – where we’re planning to present an Annual Report that highlights the organization’s 2021 achievements,” said Amy Streator, Executive Director of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “It’s through the support of sponsors like The Partnership that we’re able to provide this event free of charge to attendees. We thank them for being committed partners in our quest to create sustainable impact.”
The Ripley County Community Foundation was founded in 1997 with the assistance of Lilly Endowment, Inc. and the Rising Sun Regional Foundation by innovative individuals seeking to create a permanent source of grant funding to benefit the quality of life of residents. With an overarching theme this year of collaboration, the RCCF hopes to assist organizations in creating a sustainable impact within their communities and establish cross-community or cross-country partnerships in a way that closely aligns with at least one of the four service areas.
“The Partnership believes in support and initiatives that strive for the advancement and empowerment of communities – building lasting and impactful relationships for tomorrow,” said Shaheen Solomon, The Partnership’s director of public relations. “Organizations like Ripley County Community Foundation provide services and funding to create sustainable impact amongst one or more communities, demonstrating the need for funding areas of community with valuable resources.”
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The first round of grant recipients will be announced on June 21 Annual Dinner, where The Partnership will be present as sponsor.
This sponsorship is the most recent initiative undertaken by The Partnership as part of its Give Back initiative. To date, The Partnership has supported several community initiatives including nonprofits, shelters, community and sport organizations, and governmental institutions through philanthropy and volunteerism.
