The Partnership is based around community. And to that point, our success depends on the relationships we build with the people around us, as well as the support we give back to those that have helped us. In keeping with our motto of respect and service, our CEO Amanda Lucey made a donation to an institution that has influenced her in the past: The University of West Georgia.
On July 8, The Partnership announced the creation of the Amanda Lucey Endowment Scholarship in conjunction with the University of West Georgia’s Social Sciences program. After the announcement, Lucey presented a $25,000 endowment check to Dr. Amber Smallwood, West Georgia’s Associate Dean for the College of Social Sciences, as well as a select group of other tenured professors at The Partnership’s new office location.
This scholarship is exclusively for first-generation college students in Mass Communication majors and is available to students pursuing careers in public relations, journalism, digital media and telecommunications, as well as opportunities in film and video production. For eligible students, this scholarship provides an opportunity to further explore their passions in a constructive learning environment as they continue to work in their desired fields.
The Partnership believes in community, starting with the youth of today and the future leaders of tomorrow.
