The “Milk Bowl” campaign pitted SEC football rivals Joe Milton (quarterback) and Ladd McConkey (wide receiver) against one another to highlight milk’s strength-building protein and hydration benefits.
By tapping into the existing rivalry between the University of Georgia (UGA) and the University of Tennessee (UT), we created a compelling narrative that resonated with fans. Our multi-pronged approach included organic social media engagement, athlete influencers, digital out-of-home (OOH) advertising, Instagram ads, radio, local broadcasts, and streaming. This diverse media mix ensured robust coverage across all customer touchpoints.
The results were impressive: the campaign reached 3.4 million unique users, achieving almost 100% coverage within our target audience in Georgia and Tennessee. With 114 million impressions, 621k engagements, and 100% positive sentiment, the “Milk Bowl” campaign successfully highlighted milk’s unexpected benefits and connected with both household managers and younger audiences.
The “Dunks on You” campaign featured Tennessee college basketball players Zakai Zeigler and Kendric Davis. This Twitter-driven campaign invited fans to participate in a virtual milk dunk contest during March Madness.
Leveraging the excitement of March Madness, we blended NIL talent with engaging social content targeted at Tennessee college basketball fans. Our vibrant and animated campaign encouraged users to tweet with the hashtag #DunksOnYou, fostering engagement and raising awareness about milk’s nutritional benefits. Despite the challenge of Zeigler’s unexpected injury, we quickly adapted the strategy to maintain momentum and support.
The results were outstanding: the campaign generated 10.9 million impressions, 108k Tweet engagements, and 99% positive sentiment. By effectively combining organic and paid social media efforts, we created a highly engaging and successful campaign that highlighted the benefits of milk to a wide audience.
