Opportunity
Touchdowns for Children’s raises funds for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s. With the Peach Bowl matching donations dollar for dollar, the program has the potential to drive significant impact. Our challenge was to create a seamless digital platform to engage donors and maximize contributions.
Approach
Through our longstanding partnership with Children’s, we developed a digital strategy that streamlined fundraising efforts, amplified engagement, and simplified the donor experience. The website became the hub for storytelling, touchdown tracking, and direct contributions, making it easier for supporters to show their support with every touchdown. We optimized the site’s functionality, ensuring seamless user navigation and mobile responsiveness, while integrating real-time updates on funds raised.
Impact
In 2024, the program raised $421,000, and the Peach Bowl matched it, bringing the total for the year to $842,000. Over the course of five years, we’ve helped raise over $3 million for pediatric cancer research and care at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. The program has seen an average year-over-year growth of over 21%, demonstrating its increasing impact and community support.
