Launching Atlanta's newest sky-high attraction.
To bring the public’s attention to a new 200-foot Ferris wheel called SkyView Atlanta, The Partnership was asked to develop a comprehensive launch campaign, driven by a robust social presence. The task at hand was simple: create buzz around SkyView, encourage ridership, and build SkyView’s social media following.
How we did it.
We developed a new brand identity for SkyView, then went public with a big social media activation, as well as print, digital and PR efforts. From sparking conversations on Facebook and Twitter to creating social media-driven promotions such as the Valentine’s Day-themed “SkyLuv Package,” our launch campaign encouraged visitors to post their time at SkyView on Instagram, where locals and tourists alike became part of the SkyView Atlanta experience.
In just three months, SkyView gained over 2,000 followers on Facebook and SkyView was mentioned in more than 4,900 conversations; images of SkyView were posted and shared by thousands each day on Instagram. In particular, the SkyLuv Package netted over 65,000 impressions, resulting in a complete sell-out of 148 packages.
